4H Mugello: Head For The Cure Charity Event

OVERVIEW

The 4H Mugello: Head For The Cure Charity Event is part of the Endurance Challenge Powered by Triple Stint and for this race, we are opening up to everyone to join in and help us and The Head For The Cure Foundation with their fight against Brain Cancer. The Event is for anyone that enjoys Multi-Class racing and wants to donate to a good cause. You can race solo or with a partner in the LMP2 or GT3.

  • All drivers are to be respectful to each other as close racing is expected.
  • Please be mindful that there will be slower drivers, please be patient, courteous, and respectful to other drivers and use caution when overtaking.
  • If you cause or are involved in an incident, we encourage you to report the incident to help us keep the events we run clean but competitive. See the Stewarding Section below for more information. 

REGISTRATION

For this Endurance Event, we are limiting the grid to 55 GT3 teams (1 or 2 Drivers), on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please sign up and make all changes before 12:15 pm Eastern time on race day.

Entry Fee: There is no mandatory entry fee, however we do appreciate any donations that you chip in to help The Head For The Cure Foundation with their fight against Brain Cancer. To Donate, click here

Pick whichever Category based on the recommended requirements below. If you have never raced with us please choose the class that best suits your current iRating. If you don’t meet the recommended requirements, please let us know, we may be able to work with you on the class you want to use for this event.

Recommended Requirements

Within the classes we also have categories for everyone to have a chance at winning. Below is a breakdown of the Car Selection, and Categories. 

  • Car Selection and Requirements
    • LMP2: B+ SportsCar License 
    • GT3: No License Restrictions
  • Categories
    • PRO: 2.5k iRating or higher 
    • PRO-AM: 2.4k – 1.6k iRating
      • 1 PRO Driver (2.5k+ iRating) & 1 AM (1.5k or less) 
      • 2 Drivers in between 2.4k – 1.6k iRating 
      • Solo Driver: 2.4k – 1.8k iRating
    •  AM: 1.5k or less 

PRIZES & Broadcasting

Our Broadcasting partner, GT Champions, will have a live broadcast of the event if there are 35 or more teams registered for the event.

EVENT TIMETABLE

  • Practice: 1:15 PM (50 Minutes)
  • Lone Qualifying: 2:05 PM (15 Minutes)
  • Warmup/Break: 2:25PM (5min)
  • Race: 2:30 PM

RACE DETAILS/PitStops

Below you can find all the event server details and Pitstop Requirements:

  • Open Setup
  • Starting Type: Rolling Start, Maintain Grid Position Until Green Flag
    • GT3 Class will maintain 5.0 sec until Race Director calls Green Flag over Voice Chat
  • Incident Warnings/Penalties: 20x (Drive Through) then every 20x (Drive Through)
  • Fast Repairs: 1
  • Track Condition: 20% Carry Over & Leave Marbles
  • Pit Stops:
    • Tires: Optional 
    • Fuel: Optional 
  • Driver Swap: Fair Share
  • Automatic FCY: If there is an incident that involves 4 or more drivers, there will be a FCY/Safety Car
  • Hardcore Level: All Assists are Disabled (except for Clutch)

STEWARDING

  • Live Stewarding during the race if we have the admin staff available for the event.
  • There will be Post-Race Stewarding. We encourage you to submit all incident reports within 24 hours through our Incidents & Reports section on Discord.
  • The stewards will review the footage/information provided after the race and implement penalties if necessary.
  • We discourage waiting to give back a position after an incident, but you may self-penalize or give the spot back while racing without receiving a time penalty. BWP may still apply.

CUSTOM LIVERIES

  • Custom Liveries are allowed through the Trading Paints Tool.
  • Any Potentially Offensive material on Livery the driver/team will removed from the event.

WITHDRAW AND RESERVES

If you are not able to make the event, please remove yourself from the event to make room for another driver who wants to join this event.

There are 10 Reserve spots available if the event reaches max capacity. We encourage you to signup even if the event is full as there will more than likely be a spot open on race day.
